Imagine leaving your home, and with the touch of a finger, setting your home on away mode. You home control system turns off all lights and appliances, sets your security system, and sets your thermostat at an energy saving level. Imagine the time and money you’ll save!
Anderson Solar Controls designs, services, and installs control systems for homes and commercial buildings. Controls systems provide safety, convenience, and energy conservation. Known also as home automation, or Smart Homes, control systems use one controller to operate the many systems in a house or commercial building.
Home control systems may be installed in new or existing homes. Anderson Solar Controls handles all product research, design, ordering and receiving,
and installation of your home controls system.
Convenience
Consolidating control of various systems throughout the house is convenient. Imagine using one touch screen to disarm the security, turn on the front lawn sprinklers, check the hot tub temperature, turn off lights at another section of the house, or increase the temperature in the family room.
Accessing Your System Remotely
Your home control system can be accessed via phone or Internet when you are away, and the system will access you in an emergency via call or email! Your system can automatically the police if your security system is breached, the fire department in case of fire, or a plumber in the event of a flooded room.
Security
A smart security system takes over the function of a standard security system and offers you more safety features. Because of custom email and call-out voice features, custom notifications can be made to any email or phone number. Imagine having a trusty neighbor check on your building in the event of an emergency, because the system notified them! They can arrive before the dispatched police arrive via central monitoring. Security cameras can be viewed via in-house TV's and Internet. Lights can come on automatically to scare off an intruder.
In the event of a fire, lights can come on to light a dark or smoke filled room, making exit easier. The HVAC fans can shut off, to stop feeding the fire oxygen.
Heat/AC Control
Temperature control incorporates automated thermostats, which can set to an energy saving level when security is armed (when you are away, for instance). The controller can return the thermostat to a comfortable temperature when security is disarmed.
Lighting Controls
Lighting can be a big energy and money drain in a home or commercial building. We have found that more switches in a building equals more switches left ON when not needed. Lighting controls bring one-point-control for a myriad of switches. Use the lights only when needed to your advantage. For example, have lighting shut OFF when security is armed; ON for emergencies; have the lighting randomly come ON when security is armed.
Irrigation Controls
Keeping your landscape, garden and yard properly watered can be complicated and expensive. ASC can help by using a user-friendly home controls system in your home or business. This system specifies zones, days and times for irrigation automatically throughout the week. You can automatically or manually turn each watering zone on or off, using only the amount of water necessary for each area in your landscape.
